Production Manager
Main tasks/responsibilities:
Carries out daily operations (activates) assuring that goals are met within the predicted time frames
- Follows the instructions of his/her direct manager in accordance with the job description
- Improves production process with an aim to improve productivity, efficiency and quality of the final product
- Coordinates the production process assuring the achievement of the long-term plan
. - Allocates resources/skills in order to assure the achievement of the production the plan within defined time frames and according to the quality specifications
- Supports the engineering Department when implementing appropriate changes of layout in the production unit
- Assures appropriate implementation of the working instructions defined by the Engineering and Quality Departments
- Proposes improvements of work processes by constantly seeking solutions to assure the best results in terms of productivity and compliance with procedures, operational instructions and operating instructions
- Responsible for identifying areas where there is no properly defined process and requests for the engineering Department defined them
- To perform all administrative tasks which part of his/her workplace are.
- Leads a team by: - Promoting high standards of behaviors and ensures that all team members understand and promote the standards
- Encourages team members with an aim of creating a high-performance culture, where suggestions for improvement are acceptable and welcome
- Monitors the performance of each team member and provides appropriate guidelines and feedback, where needed
- Ability to recognize, respond to customer expectations and CR/CSR with sense of urgency and even increase expectations
- Assist LPA Audit - Assist 5S Audit -
Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 13–15 years of experience, including 6–8 years in a similar role in automotive industry
- Strong leadership, planning, and budget management skills
